Simply Stronger has been doing very well, in the past couple of months. Since our grand opening in June at Sélection Île-des-Sœurs’ Fitness Center (325, chemin de la Pointe-Sud), I've double the amount of people I work with. Isn't that great? I have to thank everyone who has contributed to, from the clients, my supporters and helpers because your confidence in me has been what's encouraged me to take my passion for helping people to this scale!
What are these blogs going to be about?
Doing exercise is not normal. I say it all the time. That's why we need a coach there with us, to give us a reason to do it! These newsletters will hopefully do the same for you. I'll also include different bits and pieces of information on other health related topics like diet, nutrition, pain management and give you some ideas on how you can stay healthy and feel energized.
Exercise can be like a powerful drug. More powerful in fact than many drugs. It's just doing it that can be the problem. Basically what I'm hoping to do is encourage you to "take your medicine"!
And, I'll let you now about promotional deals and rebates.
Holiday gift ideas
I won't be putting up the Christmas lights just yet, but I will be happy to celebrate the holidays this season with you. I'll have different gift ideas you can buy for friends or family who need it. I'm not a big fan of giving someone a gift certificate for an exercise class because it's always better when we decide ourselves to start exercising, and not when someone else tells us we should - in the form of a gift certificate. But, it’s an option...
However, my little Simply Stronger guide book is the perfect gift because it's a good way to introduce someone to the idea that exercising can be simple. Simply Stronger doesn't come with a lot of the things people dread about going to the gym!

Other important things
In the coming months I'll be teaching some new things. The details need to be worked out, but I'll probably be teaching Tai Chi as well as a group body-weight exercise class. If you're interested, I'll be sending out a survey in a couple of weeks to get some feedback on when I might hold such classes.
I'll also be doing demonstrations of the Simply Stronger Program on the first Wednesday of every month at 3 PM so I'll be announcing those, but you can mark your calendars, so that you know they are coming up. You are always invited, and it's even better when you bring a friend!
